It's a difficult time having to arrange a loved one's funeral or cremation. We understand that you need a helping hand at this time as well as something special for a respectful tribute. That's why Arkleston Piping will arrange funeral pipers with the minimum of fuss. Whether you want a traditional funeral bagpipes or something a little different, you'll get a professional service. All our pipers are experienced and always sensitive to your needs and requests.
Each service is as individual as your loved one, so we'll change things to suit your exact needs. Although, we've suggested the following elements of a traditional service where you can have a piper play.
Traditional Service
Burial:
Have funeral piper play whist the coffin is being taken from the church or funeral home to the hearse or graveside. Pipe at the graveside for as long as needed. The funeral piper will discretely leave the graveside whilst playing, leaving the echo of pipes in the distance.
Cremation:
Whilst the coffin is taken from the hearse to the crematorium. During the service, as wreaths are laid and the curtain is drawn. Piping to finish the service as your guests leave the crematorium.

Rememberance Services and War Memorial Services
Funeral bagpipers or pipe bands can add that speical touch to a rememberance or war memorial service. If you need a group of pipers or a pipe band, then we can provide the right pipers to suit the service.
